Fortune seeker now you've, found your gold, what then Is the reason for you, growing cold? This would satisfy, endless greed, is it A long journey that's what you most need?

A beam of light traverses the sky, I know that I must follow A tower awaits in my mind’s eye, Leaves me feeling hollow

Emerging from the temple The only light the beam’s dim glow Something doesn’t feel right Time’s march seem to ebb and flow All this from an artifact Consequences unforeseen A destiny awaits him At the end of sky’s ravine

Almost a year since Feeling the sun And on the road he’s traveled He sees what he has unraveled Enters a clearing Bathed in twilight So the Nomad rests Again on this night Follow, the light To set things right To end The isolation The whisper of freedom again From this Obsession Longing for more time But dreams bring no treasure The red sands shift With no glass to measure The only direction A beam guides him

The waves are clear, They’re giving me time to fear That this is the end, of me The end of me Thunder strikes, Rain pelting like sharpened spikes It’s coming down to this, One last breath of air I have crossed the line And have seen what’s in store for us

about

Chromatic Aberration Cleveland, Ohio

A shared love of prog rock (especially Rush!) and Ultimate brought us together.

We played in a band for a few years (2014-2016) in California before I moved cross country for work in 2017.

Before leaving, we created some demos, but I knew we'd have to get back together someday to do them justice.

Reuniting in 2020, 'The Trial of the King' is that result.
